Hi there!

I’m Carol McGuinness, an interior and architectural photographer drawn to spaces that tell quiet stories. I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where color, light, and rhythm are part of everyday life. Later, I spent 13 years in New York City as a luxury marketing and PR executive, immersed in a world where every detail is intentional and nothing is left to chance.

Those two worlds shaped my eye: Rio taught me to feel spaces, New York taught me to refine them. Today, I bring that blend of warmth and precision into every home and building I photograph. I’m fascinated by the way morning light spills across a stone countertop, how shadows trace the curve of a stair, how a room can feel calm, powerful, or intimate before anyone steps inside.

Through my images, I aim to do more than document a space—I want to reveal its character, its mood, and its promise. My work is about elevating the way a property is seen, turning interiors into visual narratives that invite people to imagine their own lives within them.
